HARTFORD, CT — Consigli Construction Co., Inc. announced two strategic appointments in their Hartford office. Consigli named Josh Sylvester to Project Executive, Director of Operations for the Connecticut region. He will lead alongside thirty-year industry veteran Ed Oloff, who is also being promoted to General Superintendent, Director of Operations. This change in leadership comes with the announcement of Mike Walker’s retirement after forty-five years in the construction industry.
In their new roles, Sylvester and Oloff will be responsible for Connecticut business operations and team leadership. Both Sylvester and Oloff have been integral in academic, historic restorations and development projects, including Sacred Heart’s state-of-the-art Bobby Valentine Recreation Center, Community Solutions’ Swift Factory redevelopment and Sandy Hook School, which was designed as a national model for the “School of the Future.”
“We’re excited to have Josh and Ed lead our Connecticut operations. Their partnership and commitment will be a great point of strength as we continue to build in the region,” said Matthew Consigli, President of Consigli Construction Co., Inc. “Mike Walker has been a guiding force in our Connecticut office over the last 22 years and a mentor to both Josh and Ed and so many others. We are so grateful for all his contributions and the enormous impact he’s made at Consigli.”
“I have worked along-side Ed and Josh on many complex projects over the years,” said Mike Walker, former Director of Connecticut Operations for Consigli Construction Co., Inc. “Over their tenure, they have brought a level of expertise, energy and devotion that that will continue to inspire our team.”
