MILFORD, MA – Consigli Construction Co., Inc. has been recognized as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts by The Boston Globe. This year’s award marks the fourteenth consecutive year that Consigli has received this honor, making it one of the longest running companies to be a part of this prestigious list. The winners were announced at an event on November 30.

Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state, as voted on by the people who know them best – their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. The employers are placed into one of four groups: small (50-99 employees); medium (100-249 employees); large (250-999 employees); and largest (1,000 or more employees).

Consigli was a strong contender for this award because of its employee-centric benefits plans and company perks, including paid volunteer time, fitness reimbursements, and employee stock ownership plans. The company’s focus on creating a culture of accountability and safety, supporting the health and wellness of its people and their families, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance also contributed to this recognition.

The rankings in Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from more than 94,000 employees at 381 Massachusetts companies (a record high). The winners share a few key traits, including offering more flexibility to continue working remotely, tracking progress on efforts to support a diverse workforce, and remembering to have some fun along the way.
