BOSTON, MA – Consigli Construction Co., Inc. and Wentworth Institute of Technology announced that Gabe Mater has been named to the Board of Advisors of Wentworth’s new Industry Corps endeavor.
As a founding member of Industry Corps, Consigli is partnering with Wentworth to develop opportunities that provide students with a clear path for upward mobility in the construction industry.
Mater—a Wentworth Class of 1999 graduate—brings more than 23 years of experience in the construction industry to his board role and will contribute to shaping the program and preparing students for career opportunities in the construction field. The program includes construction management coursework coupled with 16 hours per week of training, career exploration, and industry site visits.
Industry Corps delivers education-to-career pathways focused on economic mobility for students in need of equitable opportunities. Industry Corps provides educational credentials, career exposure, and individual support to participants to increase the number of skilled individuals building careers within the construction industry.
