- New facility is a representation of Ragon’s world-class resarch and doubles the space available to scientists, researchers, biologists, clinicians, postdoctoral fellows and operational staff.

- Early engagement with permitting officials, Eversource and MBTA allowed Consigli to adhere to the fast-track schedule
The Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard is a research center focused on better understanding the immune system and supporting human health. The new research and lab space building is located near Kendall Square in Cambridge and serves as a central hub for the program’s scientists, researchers, biologists, clinicians, postdoctoral fellows and operational staff.
The facility is split approximately 50/50 wet and dry lab with three floors of BSL1/BSL2+ labs and tissue culture rooms, one floor of BSL3 labs, a vivarium with holding and procedure space. The building provides several conference rooms, classroom, auditorium and child care center for employees. Public amenities include an underground parking garage and an intricate network of public open space comprised of climate resilient landscape.
The project achieved LEED Gold certification and is all electric ready.
