HYDE PARK, NY – Luke Interrante of Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction (KCCM) and Arik Mathison of EYP Architecture and Engineering (EYP) were featured guests for a live radio broadcast held at the FDR Presidential Library and Museum on Monday, July 1, 2013. Radio hosts, Alan Chartock and Joe Donahue of WAMC, Northwest Public Radio, discussed the work both firms have just completed for the modernization of the nation’s first presidential library.
KCCM and EYP partnered with the National Archives and Records Administration to renovate the library and museum, while preserving the building’s historic appearance and enhancing the visitor experience. The extensive exterior and interior renovations included new drainage, landscaping, roofing systems, as well as upgrading all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire protection systems.
The recently completed project was celebrated with a rededication ceremony at the library on Sunday, June 30th.
