WASHINGTON, D.C. – Engineering News Record (ENR) recently featured Phil Brault, Director of Operations, in its March edition of the Washington, D.C. City Scoop. The regional, monthly column in ENR highlights local industry leaders and their observations on current market trends.

Brault discussed the increased concentration on carbon neutrality and sustainability building trends that Consigli Construction Co., Inc. continues to see – particularly in the higher education market – as well as the growing utilization of pre-fabricated elements in projects.

“Incorporating pre-fabricated elements into the design and build process can be both more efficient and more effective, as it also reduces onsite labor needs, which supports lower costs, a higher quality product and ultimately a safer jobsite.”

“The market outlook in D.C. remains  strong with an influx of opportunities  in health care, education, hospitality, museums and cultural and government markets, including many large-scale, complex projects.”
