Project Overview

Part of the Canal Plaza complex, the four-story, steel-framed Fore Street Garage required a refresh. The project included the restoration of existing concrete and steel surfaces, as well as the installation of custom metal fabric façade screening with a unique lighting display. The façade was also restored at the lower front level, which offers space for retail tenants.
The updated parking garage houses a new rooftop solar array and curtainwall-enclosed stair tower. The existing elevator shaft was demolished and rebuilt. All work was managed while keeping the occupied building operational among the active urban presence in the heart of the Old Port. Consigli’s self-perform team managed the concrete work.
