RHINEBECK, NY – Ramapo for Children held the dedication ceremony for two new buildings built by Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction Management (KCCM) on their 250-acre Rhinebeck campus today.
Thomases Hall, dedicated to the late Bob Thomases, the former director of Camp Ramapo, and his wife Jean, is a residential space for staff members. The Susan McAdam Pavilion, dedicated to the late Susan McAdam, a Board member who was also a counselor at Camp Ramapo in the 1970s, will serve as a multipurpose meeting space for visiting school groups and community organizations. The facility includes a snack bar, wireless internet access and a lounge area.
Ramapo for Children’s Chief Executive Officer Adam Weiss said, “These buildings epitomize Ramapo’s philosophy and approach. They provide a space for adults to communicate, collaborate, and develop a toolbox of strategies to help children experience success.”
