MILFORD, MA – Former Middlesex County District Attorney Gerard T. Leone, Jr. will join Consigli Construction Co., Inc. as Vice President of People Development effective May 4. Currently a partner with Boston-based law firm Nixon Peabody LLP, Leone will oversee strategic planning, personnel and corporate governance for Consigli.

Since 2013, Leone has been a partner in Nixon Peabody’s Government Investigations and White Collar Defense group. Prior to joining the firm, he was the District Attorney for the state’s largest county, the First Assistant US Attorney and Anti-Terrorism Coordinator for Massachusetts, and the Criminal Bureau Chief in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office, handling some of the biggest state and federal cases in recent Massachusetts history and managing three of the largest public sector law offices in the northeast.
Leone has also built public/private partnerships with schools and universities, health care organizations, and non-profits in such areas as workplace safety, relationship violence, and youth development.
Leone graduated from Suffolk University Law School and earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
