NEW YORK, NY – In its inaugural feature, City & State New York recognized two Consigli Construction Co., Inc. employees for their industry achievement and leadership on the 2025 Trailblazers in Construction list. Steve Sommer, Regional Director – NYC Metro, and Cameron Dake, Director of Project Development, were both honored for their contributions to New York’s unique construction industry.

This new recognition introduces many of the master builders who are shaping and reshaping the physical landscape in New York City and across the state. Replacing the outlet’s Construction Power 100 List, which recognized Consigli leadership in both 2024 and 2023, this list highlights prominent figures in the construction industry, as well as under-the-radar players who are quietly advancing major projects, driving innovation and influencing public policy in the sector.

Steve Sommer has more than three decades of wide-ranging experience leading some of the New York City Metropolitan area’s most notable and challenging projects and has collaborated with high-profile clients across key market sectors. He was previously honored by City & State NY in 2024 on its Construction Power 100 List.

Cameron Dake plays a critical role in Consigli’s regional business development efforts, having significantly expanded the firm’s portfolio across markets and built meaningful relationships with leading clients and developers throughout New York and New Jersey.
