DOBBS FERRY, NY – Kirchhoff-Consigli Construction Management (KCCM) of Pleasant Valley, along with architect Noelker and Hull Associates, Inc., broke ground on Friday, September 19th for a new 100,000 square-foot student residence hall at Mercy College’s Dobbs Ferry campus.
In addition to providing much needed student housing, the four-story, 350-bed apartment-style residence hall will add significantly to the student experience on campus, with dining, fitness facilities and commons with shops. Construction will also include extensive site work and utility upgrades. Completion is scheduled for fall 2015.
“We are proud to be a part of the creation of a new campus center marking the beginning of a new chapter for Mercy College,” said Mark Zych, KCCM Project Executive.
KCCM is also currently managing construction of the first phase of Pace’s Master Plan for its Pleasantville campus and the renovation and addition of the Student Recreation Center at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. Other higher education projects recently completed by KCCM include the renovation of Mount St. Mary’s Dominican Center in Newburgh and the Culinary Institute of America’s new Marriott Pavilion.
