Project Overview
- Coordination of logistics around an active summer campus
- Integration of a wheelchair lift and other equipment with general aesthetics of the building
- Extensive self-performed masonry work
Facing an aggressive schedule during the University’s summer break, Consigli completed an exterior restoration at Brown’s prestigious Alumnae Hall. The project included removing the existing patio entrance, installing a new waterproof membrane system and support slab, placing new decorative railings, installing new granite pavers and entrance stairs and executing extensive limestone and brick restoration.
As part of the project, the cafeteria was renovated and a new loading facility was installed. A unique aspect of the project was the installation of a state-of-the-art wheelchair lift that is hidden from sight when not in use. Consigli self-performed all demolition, concrete and masonry services.
