Project Overview

  • Fast-track renovation to provide classroom, office, meeting and gathering space for Maine Law
  • Integration of premiere technology and customizable furnishings to support innovative learning opportunities
  • Six-story interior demolition and tenant fit-up connected to an adjacent occupied building with limited street access

Located in the heart of downtown Portland, Maine Law’s new location better facilitates the values at the core of Maine Law’s mission: community; accessibility; and quality of education. The six-story building houses nine innovative learning spaces, three large study spaces, two 100-person classrooms, ten semi-private group study spaces, a dedicated Maine Law Review office and a law library.

HVAC, electrical and fire protection adjustments accommodated the complete renovation of the new space. The building’s updated technological capabilities provides students improved access to local and statewide communities and ensures increased accessibility.
